It's been a while since I have updated this space. We have a little surprise to share that's kept us busy the last few months - we are having a baby!! We are due in April and are going to be surprised on gender this time... a little Pickle Creek baby!! The kids are thrilled and its been fun for them to be a little bit older and walk through this with us. I am incredibly grateful for a healthy, growing baby and a smooth pregnancy.
We found out in August that we were expecting. I wrapped up a onesie and positive test and the kids brought it to my husband on the screened in porch the weekend of his birthday as an early "birthday gift." I will say I think it was quite the shock while enjoying his morning coffee. I caught the entire thing on video and it was priceless. The kids were so surprised, too!!
I am 25 weeks now so we're moving right along. We finished a room for our son to move into so we will start getting the nursery ready (his current room) in the coming weeks.
