We had such a wonderful time celebrating July 4th at Pickle Creek. We invited several families over and did a big cookout and enjoyed some sparklers and fireworks. The sunset did not disappoint either - it was stunning!! I still remember the sunset from last year on July 4th (it was bright orange, too)
We grilled hamburgers and hotdogs then I whipped up some brownies complete with American flags. I also made some fun patriotic jello shots and a delicious punch that everyone really enjoyed - complete with ice cubes shaped like stars. Each family brought a side to share and it worked out perfectly!
The punch was a mixture of cranberry juice, pineapple juice, ginger ale & vodka
