Roast Beef Sliders

I highly recommend these Roast Beef Sliders - especially if you have kids. It's one of the very FEW meals that I make that my kids love and will eat without prompting. I have played around with the recipe over the years and I think this is by far the best version of it. My husband even told me it's the best I've made it. I hope you try it and enjoy!!

Ingredients
1 package of King Hawaiian rolls
1 lb roast beef
12 slices provolone/or cheese of choice
6 oz bag of French’s fried onions

Sauce for top:
1 tbsp of Au jus gravy package
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp  sesame seeds
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/ 2 tsp onion powder
4 tbsp butter

Au Jus for Dipping:
Rest of au jus package mixed with 2 cups hot water

Directions :
1. Prep sliders - cut the rolls in half, spray 13x9 dish and place bottom of rolls in dish and preheat oven to 375.

2. Place 6 slices of cheese on the bottom of the rolls, then top with the entire pound of roast beef, add fried onions then put the remaining 6 slices of cheese on top - leave uncovered and put it in the oven for 10 minutes to warm up the roast beef and melt the cheese (this is a key step because I have found the meat is cold if you go ahead and top the rolls)

3.  Make your sauce by melting butter then add remaining ingredients from "sauce for top" to the melted butter. Once the alarm goes off, pull out the pan and place the remaining "tops" for the rolls on top. Cover the rolls with the sauce and put them back into the oven.

4. Bake for an additional 5-10 minutes depending on how brown you like the top of the rolls to be

5. Serve warm with the dip
