Taco Soup

 I have been making this Taco Soup recipe for at least a decade - it's another delicious recipe from my amazing mother. We had a chilly/ overcast weekend here so it was the perfect thing to whip up and eat on. It makes enough for two full meals for our family of four. 

Ingredients
- 3 cups of water
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (big 28 oz can)
- 2 packets of taco seasoning (I use 4 tablespoons of homemade Taco Seasoning)
- 1 ranch packet
- 1 lb browned ground turkey, drained
- 1 lb browned maple sausage, drained
- 2 cans of black beans (rinsed)
- 1 can Rotel
1 can of corn (rinsed)
- 1 can light kidney beans (rinsed) 
- 1 can pinto beans (rinsed) 
- 1 can chili beans

Directions
Mix all of the ingredients in the crockpot then cook on low for 3-4 hours
I like to top mine with shredded cheese and tortilla chip and if I have avocado on hand I slice that up and throw it on top.
