Monkey Bread

I grew up making monkey bread with my Mom. I vividly remember sitting on the kitchen counter, rolling the pieces of biscuit around in the cinnamon sugar mixture. This is a recipe you can definitely do with your kids which makes it extra special.

Ingredients
- 2 cans of flaky biscuits
- 1.5 sticks of butter
- 1 cup of light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Separate dough into 16 biscuits then cut each piece into quarters
- In a bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar then roll each individual piece of biscuit in the mixture (this is the part my kids love to do)
- After you spray your fluted pan, start adding the pieces of biscuit to the bottom
- Once you have finished this, you will warm up the butter in a separate bowl and stir in the brown sugar then pour this across the top of the biscuits
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the pieces are cooked through
- Remove from oven and loosen the edges of the pan with a spatula
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes then turn upside down onto the serving plate
