I am a big fan of having "written" calendars" - which is funny to write in a digital space. I keep a physical planner that I can jot all the things in and I absolutely love having a calendar up in my kitchen. For years and years I have used the "page a week calendar" on our refrigerator to write down our meal plan for the week and to make notes of any events we have coming up. It helps for everyone to know what to expect and to be on the same page. If your refrigerator works with magnets, I highly recommend this one. It was also nice to tear it off and use it to make my grocery list and meal plan for the week ahead.
When we moved, our new refrigerator no longer held magnets so I had to get creative. I found this super cute Acrylic Dry Erase Calendar at Target and hung it in our pantry - which is a central spot in our kitchen. I love the gold accents since we have gold in our kitchen.
Anyone else love a good handwritten calendar in their home? I wonder if I get it from my Mama now that I think of it. She's always had a paper calendar hanging up in her kitchen entryway.
