I hosted a "Valentines themed" book club this week. We did a romantic comedy called "Thank You For Listening" and I would probably give it 3.5 stars. I did some fun little champagne drinks and then girls brought sweet and savory snacks to enjoy.
For the drinks I just did half champagne/ half pink lemonade with strawberries on the rim. It turned out pretty yummy and I thought the glasses looked so pretty.
The book was just okay to me. I felt like it was predictable and I didn't love the language. I also am not a huge fan of "modern day reading" which probably played into the fact it wasn't my favorite. If I am going to read a book, 9 times out of 10 I want to escape from our modern day culture :)
